In biblical times, a well was a place of refreshment and encounter. They were places where God revealed His will and gave blessing to the thirsty, the lost, and those who were seeking. They were a place of life.

Our vision is that the Well in Northampton can be those things to friends and strangers alike who would spend time with us. Jesus said to the woman at the well (in John 4) that “whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Our vision is that when people come to the Well at Northampton, they too would drink of the living water and know this spiritual refreshment. We know it is not of our own efforts and striving. It is Jesus who gives His Holy Spirit and we just want to work with Him and serve Him in this.
